Sunday morning worship is time to gather with others to connect to God, one another, and the world in profound ways. This is a time when we sing, pray, and express our desire to more fully know God. It is a safe space to explore the questions of life — why are we here, is there a purpose to our lives. As theologian Howard Thurman described it, we gather together to bring our own experiences of God and share them with one another
We currently gather in-person at 8:30 a.m. every Sunday morning. Yes, it’s early, but we will have the coffee ready for you (and yes, you CAN bring it into the worship space). Following our worship gathering, we gather in our fellowship for bite to eat and to share about what is going on in our lives with one another.
As Christians in the United Methodist tradition, we believe that ALL people are of sacred worth and recipients of God’s grace. Anyone is welcome to join us regardless of theology, identity, race, ethnicity, or all the other boxes we tend to put people in. We believe in a God who is always bigger than the boxes we create!
For those who cannot be with us in-person, we currently have the services accessible via Zoom. If you would like to join via Zoom, please send a message to revjayv@gmail.com.
Come join us this Sunday at 152 South Main Street, Northfield VT
